1. Website access

1.1 - It is not necessary to register with us in order to use most parts of this website. However, particular areas and features of this website will only be accessible if you have registered an account with us via this website (www.wifeandi.com).

2. Use of website

2.1 - This website may be used for your own private purposes and in accordance with these terms and conditions.

2.2 - You are NOT PERMITTED to print and download material from this website or reproduce any content without our prior written consent. This includes but is not limited to the saving of images. All content on this website is produced for/by and remains the property of The Wife and I Sausage Company.

3. Website uptime

3.1 - All reasonable measures are taken by us to ensure that this website is operational all day, every day. However, occasionally technical issues may result in some downtime and accordingly we will not be liable if this website is unavailable at any time.

3.2 - Where possible we always try to give advance warning of maintenance issues that may result in website down time but we shall not be obliged to provide such notice.

4. Visitor provided material

4.1 - Any material that a visitor to this website sends or posts to this website shall be considered non-proprietary and non confidential. We shall be entitled to copy, disclose, distribute or use for such other purpose as we deem appropriate, this covers all material provided to us, with the exception of personal information, the use of which is covered under our Privacy Policy.

4.2 - When using this website you shall not post or send to or from this website any material:

(a) for which you have not obtained all necessary consents, see 2.2.

6.1 - We do not accept liability for any loss or damage that you suffer as a result of using this website.

6.2 - Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence which cannot be excluded or under the law of the United Kingdom.

7. Payment For Goods
7.1 - We accept all major Debit & Credit cards for payment and our website uses a secure payment system. This offers the latest up to date secure payment system to our customers. All our transactions are in Pounds Sterling (GBP).

8. Delivery Charges
8.1 - All delivery charges are added to the customers shopping basket as part of the process of making an online order. Our current delivery charge, based on circumstances, are outlined on the Delivery page accessible from the footer of each page of this Website.

9. Shipping

9.1 - Your order will be processed and delivered without undue delay. We use DHL to supply and control the delivery command chain. We require you to supply us with a safe delivery location

9.2 - Please allow for up to 48 hours for your order to arrive from the time it was shipped.

9.3 - In order for our products to reach you in perfect condition we normally ship on a Thursday or Friday for delivery on a Friday or Saturday.

9.4 - Your order will be shipped frozen using a 24 hour courier service managed by DHL but please allow 48 hours in case of any delivery problems out of our control

9.5 - Overnight deliveries are carried out by a 3rd party carrier and The Wife and I Sausage Company are not liable for any deliveries that go missing or are delivered late as a result of the carriers fault.

9.6 - On the rare occasions that we run out of our own farm reared products, we may substitute our pork for locally sourced pork of the same breed & quality. This only applies to our sausage and burger products. Whilst we take great care to ensure the website carries accurate information regarding stock levels this may occasionally be incorrect resulting in us implementing 9.6.

10. Cancellations, returns and refunds

10.1 - All customers have the right to cancel their order under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation & Additional Charges) Regulations.

10.2 - Your right to cancel an order for goods starts the moment you place your order until the date your order is shipped. Due to the nature of our product we can not accept any cancellations once your order has been shipped.

10.3 - To meet the cancellation deadline, please notify us via email or phone about cancelling the order before the cancellation period has expired.

10.4 - If you are in possession of the goods you are under the duty to retain them and take reasonable care of them.

10.5 - Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel the order, any sum debited to us will be refunded to you as soon as possible and in any event within 14 days of your cancellation.

10.6 - Due to the nature of our products we do not accept any returns.

10.7 - The customer will be entitled to a full refund if the shipment is not delivered to the customers address within 48 hours of the dispatch date. No refund will be offered if the customer amends the delivery address after ordering or if the shipment can not be delivered due to nobody being able to receive it and the safe place not accessible or if no safe place is provided

10.8 = All items delivered successfully to the safe place or address are the responsibility of the purchasee or delivery compnay. We take no responsibility for missing parcels once dispatched form our farm.

11. Law and jurisdiction

11.1 - These terms and conditions are governed by English law. Any dispute arising in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
